Edge Innovate attend Hillhead 2018

EDGE Innovate will be in attendance at the famous Hillhead Show! Hillhead has become one of the biggest exhibitions of its kind in the world; becoming famous for its wide range of equipment and live demonstrations. The three-day exhibition commences from Tuesday 26th to Thursday 28th June 2018 at Hillhead Quarry, Buxton. With 2016 breaking the show all-time records with over 18,655 visitors, Hillhead 2018 should be an exciting show. The EDGE Innovate team will be present at Booth C20 to discuss material handling and recycling solutions as well as showcasing a range of machines from their extensive product range; including the MC1400 Material Classifier, FTS75 Mulch Master and the TRM516 Mobile Trommel.

Machines on Display
Two years on from the successful launch of the MC1400 Material Classifier at Hillhead 2016, the MC1400 is set to make a return to the Hillhead quarry! Boasting an array of features, the MC1400 provides operators with the ability to extract impurities from highly contaminated material in just one pass. Utilising controlled air flow as a separation medium, the MC1400 is the ideal solution for the cleaning of compost and biomass fractions with its ability to separate heavy fractions from lights. The Material Classifier allows operators to separate up to four different fractions as standard; lights (plastic, paper, film) mid-weight (wood) and heavy fractions (aggregate, glass, etc.). EDGE Innovate states that the MC1400 is not only ideal for organic recycling and biomass fractions but also for the extraction of valuable commodities from construction and demolition waste.

The EDGE FTS Mulch Master has been designed specifically for the stockpiling of lower density, bulky materials that are difficult to stockpile such as mulch, compost and soils. Compaction, contamination, material bridging and risk of combustion are the four traditional problems commercial compost producers have faced when attempting to stockpile mulch. The EDGE FTS Mulch Master combines traditional flipping and rotation with constant material flow to overcome these traditional challenges.

The EDGE Innovate TRM516 trommel screen range has been designed for mid to large scale operations that may be constrained for space. Designed with durability in mind, the robust TRM516 trommel screen has proven capabilities in the recycling, composting and construction & demolition industries. Thanks to design features such as the 4.9m (16’) long drum, variable speed control and a feed conveyor with intelligent load sensing controls; the EDGE TRM516 trommel screen is able to produce top-quality fine materials such as compost, gravel, sand and topsoil with ease.
