Mogensen supply Haith Group with Dewatering Screens

Well known British Engineering Company, Haith Industrial Limited, recently took delivery of four Dewatering screens from Mogensen UK to complete their new waste cleaning system. The waste material is washed and metals, plastics and stones are separated out in a floatation process so a clean end product can be presented for further recycling uses. Once the contaminants are removed, the separated product is dewatered to allow easy handling and to present a clean finished product with minimal water loss in the process. The Mogensen screens are an important part of the wash system being the final process to dewater and present a final product.

Two different sized screens are utilised both being 1600mm wide with either 2600mm or 4100mm long, both fitted with polyurethane screen decks with an aperture of 0.75mm x 13mm slots. All screens are driven by twin Invicta BLz vibrator motors providing approximately 10mm of amplitude (peak to peak) and creating a linear action. These actions simultaneously move the product forwards and with a slight deck incline, creates a deep material bed to form which acts like a filter medium and water drainage can be facilitated while retaining the finer material. Approximately 10 Tonne is processed every hour and Haith Industrial Limited is very pleased with the Mogensen screens performance.

Mogensen offers a broad range of standard and bespoke equipment suitable for many materials, and draws on its more than 50 years’ experience of vibratory equipment manufacture, both to modify existing designs and to custom-design new equipment to suit specific process requirements.
