Hiab wins Excellence in Innovation Award at Letsrecycle 2022
Further improvements to an award-winning, electric forklift have again earned industry acclaim as Hiab continues to search for advancements in next-level innovation.
The MOFFETT E5 NX is the world's first all-electric moving mast and 4-way TMFL and further improves on its predecessor, the E4, which won an IFOY award in 2021 in the Special Vehicle category.
Not one to rest on its laurels, Hiab continued to push for improvements leading to the UK launch earlier this year of the E5 NX eSeries, offering unique innovation unavailable anywhere else: zero emissions, operating silently, lower service needs and improved health and safety benefits.
This latest model has again earned industry recognition and was recently named as a winner in the 2022 RWM and Letsrecycle Live Excellence in Innovation Awards.
The awards are held in conjunction with Letsrecycle Live event and celebrate the most innovative products, services and technologies which make the most positive impact on the resource and recycling sector.
Ian Mitchell, Managing Director of Hiab UK said: “We are thrilled that Hiab and the MOFFETT E5 NX have received this award. It says that the work we are doing to work towards smarter and more sustainable load-handling solutions is being recognised. We look forward to launching more new electric models in the MOFFETT eSeries made to the same standard.”
The MOFFETT E5 NX has a unique mast that can be extended, at greater speeds than comparable vehicles, making it easier to load from one side. The truck also boasts a lithium-ion battery. When fully charged it can unload up to 60 pallets, each weighing 2.5 tons, up to 25 metres from the truck. Running costs for the MOFFETT E5 NX eSeries are approximately 20% of a diesel equivalent.
Hiab will be showcasing the E5 NX, alongside a host of other products, at this year’s Letsrecycle Live event.
