Eriez Europe’s metal detection and separation expertise showcased at Powtech 2019
During the period of April 9th to April 11th, Eriez Europe had a very successful week exhibiting at Powtech 2019 in Nuernberg, Germany, where relationships were built with companies across a wide range of industries and geographic regions. The products exhibited from the company’s extensive porfolio - Xtreme Metal Detector, Electromagnetic Vibratory Feeder, Grate Magnet and Magnetic Trap - sparked a large amount of interest from visitors to the show.
Exclusive to Powtech 2019, the Xtreme Metal Detector made its mainland Europe debut. The Xtreme is the newest model in Eriez’ range of metal detectors. Metal contamination can have a critical effect on processing lines with unwanted metals causing costly damage to machinery, loss of production downtime and affecting company reputation. The Xtreme is a feature-rich, multi-frequency unit designed to achieve the highest levels of sensitivity to detect metal contaminants as small as 0.4mm spheres in packaged, loose and free-fall applications.
Speaking about the Xtreme’s debut at Powtech, Paul Hale, Metal Detection Sales Manager said, “The Xtreme Metal Detector attracted large crowds to our stand at Powtech 2019. A number of demonstrations took place throughout the week resulting in a number of high quality leads, which will keep us busy for the coming weeks! ”
The selection of magnetic separators on display also generated much interest on the Eriez stand. Sarah Grain, Sales Manager, was present at the show. With over 20 years at Eriez Europe and her expertise and knowledge on all their products, she was on hand to demonstrate how grate magnets and magnetic traps remove small, fine tramp iron from dry, free-flowing products and provide protection for processing equipment in powders and bulk solids.
Sarah Grain commented, “Powtech was a very successful exhibition for Eriez Europe. Throughout the week, traffic to the stand was very high resulting in the team being very busy. We were able to build relationships with new companies and meet with our existing customers, expanding our network within key industries for Eriez. We look forward to exhibiting at Powtech again in September 2020.”
