Edge Freeflow Screen Named “Waste Equipment Innovation” of the Year

EDGE Innovate attended the 2017 Sustainable Ireland Awards, to celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations in all sectors of the waste and recycling industry. The awards took place at the luxurious Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belfast on Wednesday 22^nd November 2017.

The EDGE Innovate FreeFlow 186 was shortlisted for the “Waste Equipment Innovation” of the Year award. The award recognises equipment manufacturers operating in Ireland and the UK who have created innovative solutions that make waste and recycling operations more effective and efficient. Naming the FreeFlow screen as the overall winner; the judging panel were hugely impressed with the design features and applications the EDGE FreeFlow can handle!

The EDGE FreeFlow Screen range allows for two screening operations in one unit. Featuring a heavy duty scalping screen, the FreeFlow allows operators to process large un-screened material on the rigid scalping top deck, whilst providing a fine screening solution on the dual motion lower deck. With the ability to run 10% faster than competing flip flow screens and a mat acceleration of up to 50g, the EDGE  18’X6’ FreeFlow 186 screen provides operators with the ability to process hard screening tasks throughout the year despite the weather conditions. Designed for the screening of sticky, moist materials with a high percentage of fines the EDGE FreeFlow is ideal for the processing of soils, aggregates, ores, waste, biomass and other waste derived fuels including products with high percentage moisture contents.
