CDE to wow visitors with ground-breaking materials washing technology at the Dubai Mining Show

Global leading wet processing equipment company CDE will present its latest innovations to materials producers at the Mining Show in Dubai on 8 and 9 October 2018. Already counting a large client base in MENA, CDE will be a Silver Sponsor at the show.

Interactivity with customers will be key at the CDE stand, on which the company will exhibit its latest patented Infinity™ screen and introduce its ground-breaking Connected Plant digital application to visitors. A team of experts will deliver talks and lead discussions focusing on the significant added value the most advanced washing technology can bring to mine and quarry operators.

CDE boasts 25 years of experience and over 1,000 successful installations and satisfied customers across the world. The company will showcase its impressive pedigree at the show, which includes the design, manufacturing and commissioning of the largest sand washing plant in the world in the Middle East and ever-more innovative wet processing installations across eight regions globally, comprising a flagship iron ore beneficiation installation in Australia and gold and diamond recovery plants in Africa amongst many others.

Mining excellence
Adam Holland, Head of Mining at CDE, comments: “Being a Silver Sponsor at the Mining Show gives CDE the opportunity to showcase its revolutionary wet processing solutions to the region’s materials producers. CDE has an excellent track record in delivering highly efficient solutions to the mining sector, including unrivalled tailings management and mineral waste beneficiation systems, backed up by full-circle customer support.

“The global mining industry is showing very encouraging signs of recovery and there is no better time for UAE – and MENA – mining operators in general to adopt the most advanced wet processing technology in order to both diversify and maximise their materials production and mineral ore dump recovery with much reduced energy and water consumption.”

“Our modular equipment is designed to the specific needs of each customer and creates significant opportunities to increase production quality and quantity for a very interesting return on investment. I am confident that our superior and innovative technology, which covers a range of applications and can tackle the most difficult materials, will wow visitors to the CDE stand.”

Head-turning materials screening technology
Exhibited at the CDE stand, the CDE H2-60 Infinity™ screen will be a head-turner as its impressive features take centre stage. Ruchin Garg, Regional Manager for MENA at CDE comments: “We already sell over 200 screens every year and are delighted to exhibit our latest development in Infinity™ screening technology.

“The latest addition to the company’s screening range, the H2-60 is a double-deck horizontal sizing screen that efficiently separates up to three fractions without any risk of product cross-contamination.

“The H2-60 screen features a weld-free design to prolong the operational life of the screen as well as increased thickness of the screen wide walls. The screen can generate the same acceleration as conventional screens, whilst the unique design of the eccentric shaft further removes unnecessary weight, reduces power consumption and ensures the efficient transfer of energy to the material.

“The CDE-patented U-Span cast cross members*, in combination with the construction of the side walls*, deliver higher specific stiffness that prolongs the working life of the screen. The Infinity™ range utilises Rosta suspension units which deliver 98% vibration isolation ensuring protection for the supporting structure and the most efficient transfer of energy to the screening material.

“With an aggressive 8mm peak-peak liner stroke to eliminate pegging and featuring patented Infinity technology, the H2-60 is fast becoming a staple in the materials producing sector.”

Digital connectivity – Introducing the Connected Plant
Not to be outshined, CDE’s other 2018 innovation, the Connected Plant will be introduced to the show’s audience by Tom Houston, Director of CustomCare at CDE. Houston explains: “The CDE connected plant technology is set to become a game changer in the industry.

“This smart technology will bring pre-emptive maintenance as well as support, operational efficiencies and simplicity to our customers, giving them unrivalled control of what is going on with their plant or plants through a one-touch console management hub.
“This is in keeping with CDE’s commitment to maximum efficiency and ease of use.”

Easy-reach expertise
The CDE Dubai team as well as English, Arabic and French-speaking CDE technical experts will be on hand at stand B10 to present the company’s innovations and discuss visitors’ requirements to find efficient wet processing solutions to suit their individual needs.
