Utranazz supplies King Concrete with £1.5m of the latest concrete equipment

Utranazz, the concrete equipment specialist, has further cemented its relationship with Croydon-based King Concrete, securing an order for: two HM12H-E Volumetric Concrete Mixers, four Standard Transit Mixers, two LS600 Concrete Line Pumps, a Mobile 60 Concrete Batching Plant and a 100 Ton Upright Silo. The £1.5 million order represents a partial replacement plan but also an investment into a new state-of-the-art concrete batching facility at the firm’s Beddington Road, Croydon, depot.
Nigel Leach, Managing Director of King Concrete, said: “I’ve worked with Utranazz for over 15 years and have built-up an excellent relationship with them. I trust the company and their products, which are always of excellent build quality. These purchases demonstrate King Concrete’s commitment to supplying quality concrete, in the most up-to-date vehicles, to our customers. It also reinforces our dedication to expanding our concrete batching offering, enabling greater working capacity and concrete collection services.”
The new Mobile 60 wet-batch plant employs the latest technology. It is capable of batching 1m3 of wet concrete in 60 seconds (60m3/hour), and has two separate conveyor belts to enable faster batching. One belt is used to weigh the aggregates whilst the other belt simultaneously feeds the single-shaft mixer. This allows for precise measurement of raw materials and continual loading even whilst batching. All components of the Mobile 60 can be managed via three different operating systems; 1. Desktop computer, 2. Manual control panel, 3. Android app. It uses the ProkserNET software system, which enables the user to monitor and control all aspects of the plant, including creating and storing formulas, batching reports and delivery notes. The software can even be integrated with accounting programs to enable auto-invoicing.
Utranazz has been established since 1960. It specialises in all types of concrete machinery and equipment, offering an unrivalled range of new and used equipment for hire or purchase. Its new range of Semix progressive stationary and mobile concrete batching plants have outputs ranging from 15m3/hour right up to 180m3/hour.
