Slow Speed Shredders
- TDS 815
The TDS 815 Compact Slow Speed Shredder is a cutting-edge versatile solution in waste processing, featuring a compact 1.5m twin shaft shredding chamber for efficient material reduction. With quick-change shafts for enhanced adaptability and maintenance efficiency, it stands out as a versatile choice.
Operators can choose to run the shredder with synced or independent shafts, aligning perfectly with specific application requirements. Powered by a CAT 4.4 140kW Stage V engine, weighing 16,500 kilograms, and equipped with T-Link telemetry system, this shredder is well suited for a range of applications. These include skip waste, bulky waste, household waste, C&D, wood waste, green waste, building waste, stone and asphalt.

- TDS 820
The TDS 820 is an aggressive Slow Speed Shredder purpose-built to process all types of material, whether it be domestic, industrial or bulky waste.
Customisable shredding programs give operators the opportunity to configure the machine to their specific requirements, reduce material wrapping and maximise production. Designed with independently driven shafts, this double-shaft slow speed shredder is assured to give machine operators excellent performance in even the most challenging of applications.
Key features include hydrostatic drive that provides increased protection against contamination and allows for bi-directional shredding. The 2-metre-long shafts are manufactured with a fully welded tooth configuration, which makes for massive throughput and excellent material reduction. Its independent gearboxes enable each shaft to be run separately reducing material wrappage for effective shredding operations.
Additional features include the tipping feeder which increases the feed area. Hopper extensions provide increased capacity in bulky applications. The machine is manoeuvred via a robust tracked undercarriage making it a great solution for difficult terrain.
- TDS 825
The TDS 825 is a robust twin shaft, Slow Speed Shredder. Ideal for large scale operations this high capacity machine takes shredding to the next level and is suitable for all types of material including household waste, bulky waste, commercial waste, green waste, waste wood, tree stumps and roots. Customisable shredding programs allow operators to configure the machine to their specific requirements, maximising production. Designed with unrivalled levels of service access, quick and easy set-up is guaranteed from ground level.
Key features include the hydrostatic drive which offers protection against contamination and allows for bi-directional shredding. The double shaft shredder has 2.5m long shafts made from solid steel, with a fully welded tooth configuration giving an extremely high production rate with excellent size reduction.
Independent gear boxes enable each shaft to be run separately helping to reduce wrappage and improve the shredding of material. Should a blockage occur, the shafts can be controlled via the radio remote control allowing material to be repositioned before attempting to shred again.
Powered by a 770HP Scania V8 DC16, the TDS 825 has been designed to provide operators with unrivalled levels of service access. The high volume, tipping hopper increases the feed area providing optimum material feed and can be activated using the control panel or via the remote control. Tipping cycle times can be configured to suit the application. Hydraulic folding hopper extensions allows for increased capacity, preventing the infeed material from falling out especially in bulky applications. Quick and easy set-up from ground level is guaranteed taking a matter of minutes with no tools or working at height required.

- TSS 390
The TSS 390 is a robust and versatile single shaft, Slow Speed Shredder. Powered by a fuel efficient 493HP Scania DC13 engine, it is designed for maximum output and minimum downtime. Ideal for volume reduction, the TSS 390 has the ability to handle the toughest of materials including tree stumps and roots, green waste, C&D waste, waste wood, pallets and rail ties. The TSS 390 is simple to operate, offers excellent all-round serviceability and is available in both tracked and wheeled variants.
The TSS 390’s 3m long shredding shaft was expertly designed in-house and is made from heavy-duty steel, with easily replaceable, bolt-on shredding teeth. Being hydrostatically driven, it offers the benefit of full speed reverse, as well as protection against contaminants. Customisable shredding programs enable the operator to configure the machine to their specific requirements and offers improved shaft cleaning in difficult applications, reducing wrappage and optimising throughput.
Shredding takes place against a hydraulically adjustable counter comb allowing the product size to be tailored. This comb can be operated in either a fixed position, where product size is critical or in release mode when the comb can open rapidly to allow large contaminants to pass without the need to stop shredding.
Designed to provide operators with unrivalled levels of service access the shredding chamber has hydraulically operated doors on both sides allowing chamber maintenance to be carried out with ease. The TSS 390 offers quick and simple set-up and will be ready to shred in a matter of minutes.
The TSS 390 is available in both tracked and wheeled variants. The tracked unit is fitted with heavy duty crawler tracks and offers ultimate site mobility. The 5th wheel, tri axle wheeled unit, complete with European Whole Vehicle Type Approval, offers unrestricted movement between sites ensuring maximum uptime.
Medium Speed Shredder
- TDS V20
The TDS V20 Medium Speed Shredder is a revolution in mobile shredding. The twin shaft shredder chamber developed by Vecoplan specifically for the mobile industry benefits from independent hydrostatic drive and a product sizing screen.
The TDS V20 screen system which is available in different sizes, comes complete with an intelligent protection system, allowing a desired particle size to be produced, whilst still being able to cope with foreign objects.
The TDS V20’s ability to produce a controlled product size in one pass is of huge benefit to the operator saving both time and fuel. However, its versatility means it can be used as a primary or secondary shredder if the need arises. The highly user-friendly control interface complete with pre-installed programs allows the TDS V20 to shred difficult materials such as wood waste, green waste, domestic and industrial waste and is particularly suited to producing SRF.
High Speed Shredders
- TGB 530T
The TBG 530T is a robust, track mounted High Speed Shredder ideal for medium scale producers requiring an accurate and consistent end product. Powered by a 493HP Scania DC13 engine, the TBG 530T has been expertly designed to give operators unrivalled performance, ease of maintenance and superb fuel efficiency. Extremely versatile, it excels in many applications and is particularly suited to waste wood processing and green waste shredding.
With a rapid set up time the TBG 530T is ready to work in a matter of minutes with no tooling required. The open fronted feeder enables the TBG 530T to be fed quickly and easily from the rear. The intelligently controlled feed system, comprising of heavy duty drag chains and aggressive feed wheel with unique lift/downward assist, ensure optimum material flow resulting in class leading performance.
At the heart of the machine is the 1,100mm diameter x 1,490mm wide swinging hammer rotor. This robust, direct drive rotor rotates at 1000 RPM and incorporates 30 up-swinging hammers. A wide selection of hammer designs and interchangeable screens are available allowing the machine to be configured to suit the ever-changing product requirements. The TBG 530T also benefits from the added protection of a screen kickback system. Should an unshreddable object enter the shredding chamber the screen will release allowing the material to quickly pass through, reducing the risk of accidental damage.

- TBG 630
Terex Ecotec’s TBG 630 High Speed Shredder is the ultimate processing machine for medium to large scale biomass and green waste processors. Powered by a 661HP V8 Scania engine, it has been designed to give operators unrivalled production rates and ease of maintenance.
The open fronted feeder uses heavy duty drag chains, a powerful feed wheel and an unrestricted feeder design to effectively utilise the 1,100mm diameter x 1,750mm wide swinging hammer rotor. This robust rotor comes with a wide selection of hammer designs and customisable screens which ensure end product material specification is met.
Metal contaminants are always a concern when using a high speed machine; the TBG 630 has an intelligent screen opening system to quickly discharge such contaminants reducing the risk of accidental damage. The unique machine layout and maintenance catwalks offer operators unrestricted access to both sides of the engine making servicing a simple task. Industry leading conveyor discharge height of 5.1m maximises stockpile capacity and allows loader operators to easily remove processed material.
