Greenhous Form the Chassis for NTM-GB Success Story

Greenhous Form the Chassis for NTM-GB Success Story

Greenhous DAF's exemplary customer service levels have helped support the expansion of successful refuse collection vehicle manufacturer NTM-GB, supplying more than 50 DAF chassis in the past 12 months alone.

Greenhous DAF in Shrewsbury has been a long-standing supplier to Midlands-based NTM-GB, enabling the ever-expanding business to fulfil its commitment to recycmanufacturing refuse collection vehicles. The UK division of the Finnish refuse collection vehicle manufacturer Närpes Trä & Metall, NTM-GB reported a raft of new client wins in 2011, resulting in the company enjoying the most successful year in its seven-year history.

The business' success streak has continued into 2012 with the acquisition of established vehicle body builder LinkTip Kerbside Group.

Greenhous's relationship with NTM-GB began in 2004 when the company formed and chose the Shrewsbury dealership as a leading supplier of the DAF chassis which form the basis of its vehicles. Managing director Paul Westley said that consistently high levels of customer service had ensured a long, enduring relationship between the two companies.
"We've always had a very strong relationship with Greenhous. Graham waters and the sales team are exceptional. As specialist manufacturers of refuse vehicles there are traditionally chassis problems and Graham and the team made a point of understanding the challenges we faced so that they could help to overcome them," said Mr Westley.
"We're always confident we'll get exactly what we want, delivered on time so that we can manufacture the right products for our customers, and as NTM-GB has expanded in recent months, that demand has increased.

"As chassis dealers go, it can just be a case of order taking but specialist requirements like ours, it requires extensive knowledge that Graham and the team have gone out of their way to attain. NTM and DAF chassis fit together well and as our preferred supplier, we're pleased that Greenhous operate throughout the Midlands now that we've relocated to the NTM LinkTip site in Willenhall," he said.

Graham Waters, sales executive at the March Way dealership, said: "NTM-GB has enjoyed steady growth over the past seven years and the good relationship we've nurtured with them means that if they do well, we do well, so we're always pleased to hear of the many success stories surrounding Paul and his workforce.

"The past 12 months has seen us supply more than 50 DAF vehicles to NTM-GB as the business has won new clients including Veolia, Merthyr Tydfil, Initial Rentokil Medical Services and various local authorities, as well as the vehicles we've supplied as a result of the LinkTip acquisition. While I'm sorry to see the business leave the Shrewsbury area, I'm delighted that Paul intends to continue to use Greenhous as a preferred supplier," he said.
