Following a period of sustained growth in the Middle East, hydraulic tipping specialist Edbro has appointed Ian Hollis as International Business Development Manager. His role will be to support the rapidly expanding dealership network and help develop the company's relationships with local customers. Ian has many years of experience in overseas business development and is looking forward to using his knowledge to help position Edbro in the Middle East and other fast developing markets.
Having spent most of his career working in international sales and business development roles for B2B service providers, Ian is an expert in developing overseas relationships with distributors and promoting brands to foreign markets. He will be travelling extensively through the Middle Eastern markets on a monthly basis, supporting the growth that Edbro has enjoyed in the region over the last 12 months.
Ian Hollis comments: "I am looking forward to working with our distributors and service agents in the Middle East and Gulf States to reposition and grow the Edbro brand, which has a lot of history in these areas and is known to be the hydraulic cylinder of choice for demanding applications. With new products we launched recently, and a new distribution centre in Dubai, Edbro is now positioned to respond swiftly to the needs of local markets."
Peter Smith, Edbro Sales and Marketing Director, adds: "In the last 12 months we have worked hard to develop the services available to customers in the Middle East. It is a rapidly developing market and Ian's expertise will help us to ensure our infrastructure can continue to support our expanding customer base."
