Lubo Systems chosen by Beatrix Port Services to build a construction and demolition waste sorting installation

Emmen- Lubo Ssytems BV., part of the Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions Group, has received an order from BPS Recycling en Bowstoffen, part of the Janssen Group in Maastricht, the Netherlands, to build a total sorting installation for processing construction and demolition waste.

Partly due to the unrivalled performance of the STARSCREEN® technology, which forms part of the complete installation, Lubo Systems was chosen after thorough research into the installation . The project is expected to be completed by the beginning of November 2017.

Lubo Systems BV., part of the Bollegraaf Recycling Group, is the best supplier of complete recycling solutions and individual components. Lubo is a system integrator, known for high quality solutions for construction & demolition waste, commercial waste and industrial waste.

Through years of experience and extensive knowledge of waste sorting, Lubo has become a world leader in air- and screening technology, optical sorting. and robotics. By combining years of knowledge of the recycling industry and waste & sorting processes with flexibility, Lubo is able to offer the perfect recycling solutions that result in the highest profit and maximum ROI for customers. In a market that is increasingly recognizing total costs of ownership, opportunities for Lubo Sytems BV. are rapidly growing, says Rob van Dalen, General Director of Lubo Systems BV. “Our installations do not always come at the lowest price, but they do have the lowest costs per tonne of waste.

Versatile installation
“We expect that we can build a stable and lasting position in the recycling market through the high purity of the sorted mono-streams. An important part of the decision-making was the versatility of the sorting installation. This allows us to be very flexible in processing multiple waste streams and also to adapt the installation, based on our needs and wishes and therefore also the output of the materials”, says Joshua Janssen, General Director BPS.

Anti-Wrapping STARSCREEN®
A proven, more compact, flexible and affordable alternative to more expensive drums and slower screens.

The installation is equipped with the patented Anti-Wrapping STARSCREEN®. The Anti-Wrapping STARSCREEN® combines the advantages of the STARSCREEN® and the drum separator in one model. Due to its unique design, this screen does not encounter any wrapping problems, but has extremely high capacity and aggressive agitation, ensuring that all fractions are separated perfectly. This leads to better performance in de next step of the sorting process, ultimately resulting in high purity.

Wind-Shifter
The Wind-Shifter is used to separate lighter fractions such as wood, film, paper, cardboard and plastic from stones, and also to separate high caloric waste (RDF) from wood. Optimal separation results is obtained through the flexible, adjustable air stream. The Wind-Shifter is a compact machine with low energy consumption.
