Baioni to showcase at Ecomondo 2016 – Rimini Italy

From November 8th until 11th Baioni will be exhibiting their own technologies for remediation of contaminated soil at ECOMONDO – the annual trade show dedicated to Waste Recycling and Environmental Technologies (Hall C1, stand 086).

Baioni are specialists for the crushing, screening and washing of aggregates; a production that, in the last few years, has been expanded and completed with the offer of various solutions for soil remediation from straight disposal to in-situ treatment, and everything in between including off-site treatment and ex-situ on-site treatments. In the last three years six plants have been designed, manufactured and successfully started for the processing of soils and groundwaters on the site comprising eterogeneous soils and different organic contaminants. One of these plants is mobile, consisting of completely pre-assembled, containerized and skid-mounted modules that can be easily transported and put into operation.

Ecomondo is an annual trade show dedicated to waste recycling and environmental technologies, for the Italian company Baioni it represents an important event to let the new visitors introduce the design and the production capacity of the plants involved in the remediation technologies and to show, to existing customers, the latest installations successfully tested.  However, this year Ecomondo will not only be an 'exhibition show' but also a 'study day': on Wed 9th Baioni is organizing a conference titled "The change of the waste acceptance requirements of the landfill, new scenarios",  which aims at illustrating waste producers and waste management operators how their wastes are acceptable for disposal at an appropriate class of landfill in accordance with the European Directives, as well as the implications in the classification of hazardous waste as a result of the current different European regulations. The conference will end by showing the new waste treatment technologies with a specific "case study" offered by Baioni.
