Hewden appoints new head of health and safety

McKenna as the company's new head of health and safety.
The new appointment reflects Hewden's leadership commitment to managing risk and remaining at the forefront of health and safety management within the construction, infrastructure, environment and event markets.
Mr McKenna joins the company from HM Courts and Tribunals Service, where he occupied the position of head of health and safety, prior to which he was an inspector for the HSE. Jason brings to Hewden over 11 years of experience in managing health and safety systems, within both the manufacturing and construction sectors.
In his new position, Jason is responsible for developing the company's strategic health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the Hewden brand promise provides one safe system of work that delivers zero injuries.
Commenting on his new appointment, Jason said: "Working to maintain health and safety standards in some of the harshest and most hostile environments brings with it a range of challenges.
"Achieving the highest levels of safety performance requires participation from every employee.
