Baioni crushing plants: New solutions for washing

On show at Stand C20 is offered the latest BWR300 turnkey washing system designed by Bruce Engineering Ltd featuring BAIDEC decanter centrifuge! The BWR300 washing system consists of a coarse material/log washer, double deck washing screen and trash screen. This system is ideal for washing primary, secondary, recycled or reclaimed aggregates.

The Baioni range of BAIDEC centrifuges was originally developed and designed specifically for the Quarry and Recycling industry with its specially designed scroll; the design has moved the accepted benchmarks for dewatering performance, providing an improvement of as much as 20% compared with previous generations of decanter centrifuges. The range features a compact, modular design with all critical parts made of wear-resistant materials. The result is reliable, continuous operation and easy, trouble-free process control.

Over the last fifteen years Baioni have followed a policy of developing the centrifuge specifically for the aggregate and recycling industry. Many are well established in the UK and worldwide and are proving to be very efficient at collecting and dewatering sludges from aggregate washing plants and recycled aggregate plants. The sludge is centrifuged at high speed and gives dry solids of around 58% to 62% dry. Each BAIDEC decanter centrifuge is equipped with a Touch control package as standard, pre-installed and factory-tested. The bowl, conveyor, casing, inlet tube, outlets and other parts in contact with the process media are made of AISI 316.

The main advantages of the BAIONI Centrifugal decanter systems are they are small and compact compared with other dewatering methods being used today, with minimal operator control needed as they are fully automatic, controlled by a dedicated PLC allowing the machine to be automatically programmed for long running hours.

The BAIDEC centrifuge is also the only sludge decanter designed for effective protection against the effects of abrasion. Special wear-resistant materials are used for all critical parts - ceramic outlet ports, independent powered scraper tungsten carbide coated and tipped scroll - resulting in low maintenance costs. This helps make BAIDEC solutions a solid long-term investment.
