Baioni took care of the plant sizing and design by making several tests, in order to check the size distribution of limestone material to be processed. The working cycle of the plant has been designed for getting a maximum production flexibility.
The system has been designed for an average production of 200 tonnes per hour. The material that arrives on site, is discharged into a large feed hopper and then carried into the primary crushing unit, which is composed of a vibrating feeder and a primary jaw crusher BP100/95 B.
From the primary crushing unit, the material is sent to a bag storage and once here, it is taken again for a second crushing phase, consisting of an impact crusher MIS100. The material passes through a three decks and a half vibrating screen V18.70 to select the material from 0 mm to 25 mm. The fraction >25 mm is sent from the screen to the tertiary crushing unit, composed of a MIL750. The customer Eurl Josef Ahira is so pleased with the investment that he is currently negotiating for an extension of the plant and for a dust suppression unit.
Algeria has been the first export market for Baioni since the 80's and the brand is now becam synonymous of quality and reliability. "We are expecting important revenues from this country" comments Pietro Baioni, Managing Director. Nowadays the company is investing in Northern African markets with the opening of a sales office; an impressive Five-Year Plan <2010- 2014> has recently been approved, it concerns a Public Investment for an amount of 286 billion dollars, including the construction of Algeria-Morocco highway for a total length of 1200 km.
