The sky's the limit for Crushers UK as it gets ready to move into its new factory in September and has also signed up to exhibit at SED2011.
Having outgrown its current site the firm is moving a few miles down the road into a new factory five times the size of its existing facility in order to increase production of its Hercules 1830 mobile jaw crusher. The heavy duty tracked crusher will be working in the demo area at SED and a second static unit will be on the firm's stand in the Site Clearance Zone.
The remote-controlled Hercules 1830 is aimed at quarrying, demolition and recycling operations and comes with hydraulic jaw setting adjustment and variable speed tracks while a magnetic separator and dust suppression are options. Throughput is up to 100t/hr (at 100mm jaw setting) and for maximum wear life the unit is fitted with invertible manganese steel jaws and liners which are said to provide a substantial cost reduction against its nearest competitors.
Power comes from a 91kW John Deere generator and with an all-up weight of 20t, the unit can be transported without permits.
