Strong show for Finlay Group at Hillhead

Wet weather did not detract from Finlay Group putting in a strong show at Hillhead.

In partnership with Terex Finlay the company had its largest ever presence in terms of the number of machines on display at the Buxton event

With a total of 14 machines on display across the site, eight machines on static display and a total of six machines working in the various demonstration areas, the partnership offered plenty to view.

Of the 14 machines, five were brand new models introduced just this year. A great deal of interest was also shown in the new I-140RS Impact Crusher, which was previewed at the show for the first time, prior to introduction later this year.

Among a selection of some of the deals done over the three days was a Terex Finlay J-960 jaw crusher, bought by OCL Regeneration.

KKB Group took delivery of a new Terex Finlay 883+ and Peter Bennie signed-up to a new Terex Finlay 873.

Rik Kiddle, Finlay Group’s Sales and Marketing Director, said: “Despite the weather, particularly on the Wednesday, we had a really successful Hillhead and our congratulations go to all concerned with putting on a great event.

“It was fantastic to meet with both existing and also new customers.

“Clearly there was a great amount of interest in the new models from the Terex Finlay stable and, of course, for our more established models too.

“We managed to secure and close a number of deals at Hillhead and look forward to hopefully agreeing on a few more in the weeks and months to come.”
