DEUTZ engines : The 4 front of emission technology

DEUTZ engine line up covers 30 to 390 kW power range through six class leading performance models.

Of special interest is the DEUTZ 3.6L engine has been designed with challenging environments in mind. From the 55.4 to 97 kW power range, this water cooled, four cylinder engine, with its outstanding torque and peak performance of 97 kW, is penetrating a power category hitherto reserved for engines of significantly greater cubic capacity. At rated engine speeds of 2,200 - 2,600 rpm, the 3.6L generates output comparable with that of a 4.5 litre Tier 3 engine.

Covering the 30 to 55.4 kW power range, is the DEUTZ 2.9L engine. It is available as a naturally aspirated or turbo charged engine, with or without charge air cooling. Equipped with cooled external exhaust gas recirculation and a common rail high pressure injection system, the compact four cylinder inline engine offers high specific power and torque capability up to 50% greater than comparative competitor engines.

At this year's Hillhead exhibition we will be exhibiting the TCD2.9 L4 engine. This four cylinder turbo charged version, along with its exhaust after treatment module, will give you an appreciation of its compact size and how it can fit into your current space claim. You will find us at the bottom of the hill as you walk in, stand number B34.

Both engines make use of DEUTZ compact, maintenance free, "fit & forget" emission reduction technology and there will be experts available on the stand to talk to you about this.
