When all that is needed is a simple method of airflow detection, the Dietz 103B - available from Variohm EuroSensor, offers the perfect solution. Designed to be used in both new and existing air ducts, the switch allows airflow detection between 150 – 750 metres per minute.
Based around a reliable SPDT snap action micro switch and using a stainless steel air vane the simple proven mechanical design offers a cost effective alternative to more complex airflow sensors. With a moisture and fungus resistant model available it is ideal for HVAC, industrial, medical and military applications.
