Avery Weigh-Tronix has continued to upgrade its national weighbridge calibration service with the purchase of two new 48 tonne vehicle test units in an investment totalling £1m. The company claims that it now has the most comprehensive calibration service in the country with a total of eight specialist test units. Of these four can calibrate up to 48 tonne weighbridges and four up to 44 tonnes.
The weighbridge test fleet is available 52 weeks of the year throughout the UK and Northern Ireland and helps operators meet the requirements of ISO 9001. In addition Avery Weigh Tronix has a 58 strong team of dedicated weighbridge technicians in the UK of which 19 are accredited verification engineers.
