Sandhurst Targets Engineering and Remanufacturing with new Facility

Sandhurst, has recently announced the opening of a dedicated engineering facility in the centre of the country for the refurbishment, remanufacture and repair of rail, quarry and construction industry equipment.

The new business, Sandhurst onTrack, is strategically located in the West Midlands on the site adjacent to Sandhurst’s Regional Attachment Rental Centre at Oldbury, a recent acquisition.

Staffed by professionals and backed by Sandhurst’s considerable experience in hydraulic attachments, the new facility will be fully operational from Monday 6th April 2015.

Sandhurst onTrack will primarily target engineering refurbishment work of attachments and plant from the rail, quarry, demolition, civil engineering and construction related sectors.

In addition, the new business will provide a central facility for the refurbishment of rental attachments for associated company, Sandhurst Rent and will manufacture a number of its own products.

Since entering the rail sector and exhibiting at both 2013 & 2014 Long Marston rail events, onTrack is very aware of the demand for a dedicated engineering facility capable of adhering to agreed budgets and to schedule.

onTrack will offer its collective engineering expertise to businesses with existing rail materiel, lying idle – out of service. To this end, it is currently in talks with a number of rail contractors who are keen to breathe life back into their pool of costly out of action equipment, to be returned to work and resume providing a useful financial return.

Sandhurst invites enquiries for equipment remanufacture, refurbishment and repair work that will be carried out to agreed schedules. Service contracts will be targeted and where applicable the company will offer extended warranties on equipment it repairs and services.
