New Products at Bauma and Watch the Liebherr Stand Grow in Time-Lapse

In 2010 Bauma more than lived up to the Liebherr Group’s expectations. Liebherr’s new outdoor stand met with widespread approval and provided a hugely impressive focal point for the Liebherr Group. Now, the focus is on this year’s Bauma exhibition which will be held from 15th to 21st April 2013. The Liebherr Group started construction work on the stand (809-813) some time ago and, once again, this will showcase around 60 products and services for the international markets on an area of 14,000m²!

For the 2010 show, Liebherr’s time-lapse system provided a fascinating insight into the planning, logistics and building technology which resulted in the Group’s outstanding presentation. Once again, the Liebherr time-lapse is live for interested parties to watch the stand grow to completion for the 2013 exhibition. Please visit Liebherr’s Bauma website www.liebherr-bauma.com/en-GB/122919.wfw for this feature – and continuous updates as showtime approaches.

As always, Liebherr is taking the opportunity at this international exhibition to showcase a number of new products, right across the ranges.

From the cranes programme the new 150 EC-B Flat Top tower crane will be joined by the 357 HC-L luffing jib tower crane which makes its first ever appearance. From the mobile crane programme, the new nine-axle LTM 1750-9.1 all-terrain crane will be shown alongside the LTR 1220, which extends the range of highly successful telescopic crawler cranes designed and manufactured by Liebherr.

The earthmoving range features a number of world premières, starting with the A 910 compact wheeled excavator and the new 22t operating weight R 922 crawler excavator. From the hydrostatic drive wheeled loader range, the new concept L 506 C and L 508 C compact loaders will be seen for the very first time and, joining them are the new revised mid-range machines, together with the IIIB generation of large wheeled loading shovels. For the demolition industry, Liebherr will be displaying the new R 946 demolition excavator. Finally, from the earthmoving programme and making its world debut, is the TA 240, Liebherr’s new 40 tonnes capacity articulated dump truck.

Mining machines are represented by the impressive 350 tonnes operating weight R 9400, which will be displayed in face shovel configuration featuring a 22m³ capacity bottom dump bucket.

From the specialist materials handling range, the new LH 30 M makes its show debut. This 30t class machine is a successor to the best-selling A 924 C Litronic and, like all machines in the LH series, has a number of technical features and innovations which enhance the cost-effective qualities of the LH range even further.

Machines for special civil engineering applications include the new 350 tonnes operating weight HS 8300 HD duty cycle crawler crane in hybrid design and the 160t LB 44 rotary drilling rig.

On a separate stand (F10 1003/2), Liebherr is presenting exhibits from the product programme of the concrete pump manufacturer Waitzinger, which Liebherr acquired in October last year.  Four truck-mounted concrete pumps and other equipment is on display and, from 2013 onwards, these machines are being sold under the Liebherr name.

Liebherr Group’s Components Divisions are exhibiting in Hall A4, Stands No A4/115. Exhibits from the Group’s mechanical, hydraulic and electronic components will be displayed, featuring a six-cylinder diesel engine (Stage IV / Tier 4f), a common rail fuel injection system with engine control unit, the new LiView hydraulic cylinders position measuring system and a new series of travel drives.
