Speedy Expands Fleet with Order Worth Over

Doosan Infracore Portable Power has secured a prestigious order worth over £3.2 million from Speedy, the UK's leading provider of equipment rental and support services. The order covers a range of equipment from Doosan including the 7/31EG portable compressor generator, which is equipped with an integral 6.5 kVA generator, meeting a specific requirement on contracts for utilities such as gas, water, electricity and telecommunications for a compressor that provides both electrical power for lights, tools and fusion welding and compressed air for powering breakers and other pneumatic equipment.

A versatile, rugged and reliable machine, ideal for all air tool and utility applications, the 7/31EG portable compressor supplies 3.0 m3/min (105 cfm) of compressed air at 7 bar (100 psig). Power is provided by the Yanmar 3IRH8N 3-cylinder water-cooled engine running at 2800 rpm and rated at 26.0 kW (34.8 HP).
