European bidders are getting ready to join the biggest equipment auction of the year...

The final countdown to Ritchie Bros.’ massive Orlando, Florida (US) auction has begun and it looks to have one of the best selections of equipment the company has ever assembled. More than 12,800 equipment items and trucks are listed to sell in the six-day unreserved auction. As always, every item will be sold without minimum bids or reserve prices.

Starting on Monday, February 19 and running through Saturday, February 24, the mega auction will feature a wide range of items stretching throughout its 80-hectare site. General equipment highlights include 770+ excavators, 510+ compactors, 480+ skid steers, 380+ loaders, 300+ dozers, 160+ articulated dump trucks, 150+ cranes, 380+ aerial work platforms, 440+ truck tractors, 520+ trailers, and more. In addition to the many used equipment items, more than 1,900+ unused items from a variety of popular brands are also featured, including late model excavators, wheel loaders and telescopic forklifts.

“This is a can't-miss event for buyers in Europe,” said Jeff Jeter, President (US Sales), Ritchie Bros. “It’s not your everyday auction; this is a global event with a selection you won't see anywhere else. Last year we sold more than 11,500 items through the combined Ritchie Bros. and IronPlanet Orlando events, attracting bidders from more than 80 countries. This year we plan to do it even bigger, with the highest level of customer service you will see in the industry."

Bids can be made in the Orlando auction in person, online in real time at rbauction.com or via the Ritchie Bros. mobile app, and by proxy. Detailed equipment information is available at www.rbauction.com/Orlando — items being sold off-site also have inspection reports and most are backed by an IronClad Assurance guarantee.
