MST Birmingham returns to its roots.
We celebrated a remarkable twist of fate this week as we unveiled our new parts and service depot in Walsall.
When MST Birmingham depot manager, Jackie Hallard selected a new site for the depot on Bentley Mill Way in Walsall in July 2023 she had no idea that she had unwittingly chosen a site on the same street that, 60 years earlier almost to the day, MST founder, Kenneth Whitehall had registered Midland Steel Traders (MST) as a new company.
Despite Kenneth Whitehall moving the company up to the North East in 1967, and have grown to become a national company, MST has now come full circle back to their roots in the Midlands.
To celebrate MST returning to their roots, Kenneth’s son, Paul, and Grandson, Rory, attended the open day to mark the important milestone in the company’s history.
MST are excited to announce the opening of our brand new depot in Birmingham.
MST have had a strong sales and service team based in the Midlands for many years but now with this brand new depot and team, we can offer a personalised local service for the supply and fitting of undercarriage, rubber tracks and bucket wear parts across the Midlands region.
The new depot is located in Unit 2, Bentley Mill Way, Walsall, WS2 0LE
