Hanson Springs announce continued expansion in their heavy coil spring capacity

Due to continued growth in demand, Hanson Springs has continued to invest to substantially increase their production capacity with two further coiling lines with a combined output potential of 24 tonnes of springs per day.

Current output is typically 17 tonnes of springs per 24-hour production day, so this additional capacity, combined with a continued increase in raw material stocks, will further drive down lead-times to meet the demands of the Crushing and Screening Industry – particularly for the spares market.

An additional high performance automated Powder Coating line has also been commissioned to complement the output of the new coiling lines. Hanson Springs have total control of the entire production process.

Raw materials are still routinely stocked onsite in two computerised 20m tall storage towers, each holding 700 tonnes. Total stock value now exceeds £6m.
