Devine Group strengthens future of groundworks with over 85 machines in 2025

Devine Group remains committed to investing heavily in its plant equipment and embracing the future of groundworks. With technology playing an increasingly important role in operations, the company has now equipped over 60% of its large excavator fleet with advanced GPS systems, supported by One Point Survey.

The fleet continues to expand with the recent addition of a Hitachi ZX210LC-7 and two Hitachi ZX130LCN-7B excavators, delivered by Hitachi UK. These new arrivals bring Devine Group’s large excavator fleet to over 20 machines.
The company is also strengthening its smaller equipment lineup with two Takeuchi TB290-2 (9-ton) and one Takeuchi TB250-2 (5-ton) excavators, supplied by CBL Southampton. This expansion pushes the total number of excavators in the fleet to more than 45.

As the industry moves toward safer and more comfortable equipment, Devine Group has introduced four new 6-ton Thwaites cabbed dumpers, also supplied by CBL Southampton. Alongside the 9-ton cabbed dumpers added last year, the company’s dumper fleet now exceeds 40 machines. All cabbed dumpers feature air conditioning, full windscreen protection, and radios, ensuring improved comfort and safety on site.

Chris Dixon, Fleet and Plant Operations Manager at Devine Group commented, “We understand that the future of groundworks depends on both innovation and safety. That’s why we’re expanding our fleet with the latest equipment featuring advanced technology and operator comfort, so our teams can work smarter and safer every day.”
Devine Group is proud of its continued progress and remains focused on building a modern, capable, and future-ready fleet to meet the evolving demands of the groundworks sector.
