Mining for success at Indian show

Cookstown based engineering company CDE is continuing to expand its global market share after securing £1.5 million worth of business at a leading Mining exhibition in India last week.

CDE attended the IME (International Mining, Exploration and Mineral Processing Technology and Machinery) exhibition from 17th - 20th January in Kolkata where they officially launched their newest product OreMAX and subsequently closed three substantial contracts.

CDE will supply customised processing plants to Karnataka based customers Hamsa Minerals, Electrosteel and Maheshwari Ispat in the mineral rich region of Orissa in Eastern India.

All of the plants will remove the impurities from and process minus 10mm iron ore through CDE's latest ore washing solution OreMAX. OreMAX is a state of the art ore washing system which is designed to accommodate up to 100tph of minus 20mm iron ore with scrubbed, washed, and density classified products produced and is tailored exclusively to each customer's specification.

This announcement is the latest in a series of valuable contracts CDE have won recently in India including £450k contract to leading steel manufacturers Adhunik Group in October.
