JCC awarded contract for designing, supplying & installing a 7 screen compost trommel system for Stirling Council.

The 7 screen trommel is fabricated using heavy duty universal beam construction with 5mm hardox steel punch plates for longer life capabilities. The first 4 screens with be 10mm screens to extract the under 10mm compost, followed by another 3 screens with 35mm screens to extract the 10-35mm compost. The remaining product will fall onto the stockpiling conveyor at the end of the trommel screen.
Fabricated bays under the screens will aid collection and separation of each product.The trommel system is powered by a stand alone hydraulic powerpack.
Stirling Council have previously purchased a mobile picking station and mobile trommel screen from JCC in the past and were delighted this relationship could continue.
