“Fintec scoops exporter of the year for the second time running!”

“Fintec scoops exporter of the year for the second time running!”
Fintec Crushing & Screening Ltd has won for the second consecutive year the Invest Northern Irelands - Exporter of The Year Award.  Fintec is one of the main suppliers of mobile crushing and screening products supplying to a global sales network.  A fast growing manufacture of crushing and screening equipment, they have grown substantially in recent years particularly through export that now cover practically the whole world.  Major new export regions include India, Australia, Latin America, Japan and South Africa as well as Russia and Central Europe.  Fintec's range of products include six models of track-mounted crushing and screening plants, covering aggregates production, construction and demolition.

In addition to Fintec's range of crushing and screening equipment they have recently launched the new 1080 Cone; this has been hugely successful for Fintec and has opened new markets for Fintec such as CIS Region, Eastern Europe and North America.  In addition to this Fintec will be launching the new 1440 Primary Impactor in January.

Fintec has once again increased its turnover by over 50% during the current year.  Due to increased demand for the Fintec range, this company has just completed a new 55,000 sq ft manufacturing facility to meet the needs of their customers and enable them to provide the high quality products and service they are recognized for.  They now have a workforce of over 350 employees and this is due to increase to over 400 in the next coming year, thus creating excellent job opportunities within this sector.

In May this year, Sandvik, who owned 49% of the shares in Fintec since it was established in 2002 bought out the remaining 51% of the shares.  They also bought out Extec Crushing and Screening.  Together Fintec and Extec help to propel Sandvik into number 3 position in the global screening and crushing mobile market that is worth in excess of €2b annually.
These acquisitions provide a very strong base for Sandvik to continue to build on for further expansion into this growing segment of the construction industry.

Fintec are to participate in one of the biggest trade shows in Las Vegas in March 2008.  CONEXPO-CON/AGG will be the world's largest international gathering place in 2008 for the construction and construction materials industries, showcasing the latest equipment, services and technologies. Preparations are already underway at Fintec for participation at this show.

All in all this has been a very successful year for Fintec Crushing & Screening Ltd.
