Liebherr-Rental Ltd Appoints

Liebherr-Rental Limited, the new plant hire company for Liebherr specialist earthmoving and materials handling machinery in Great Britain, is pleased to announce that Mr Paul Clark has been     appointed as General Manager - Managing Director Designate, joining the company on 1^st October.

Paul Clark brings a broad industry knowledge with him for this brand new Liebherr company, joining from Demarec UK where he was General Manager. He is a member of the Institute of      Quarrying and the Chartered Institute of Waste Management.

The timing of Mr Clark's arrival was planned to coincide with the finalising of Liebherr-Rental's headquarters, located at the Group's modern facilities in Biggleswade. At the same time, the existing Liebherr equipment sales depot network has been brought on stream and will be provided with all systems and information for the official launch of Liebherr-Rental, which is scheduled for the beginning of 2008.

Since the original announcement of the Group's intention to build a rental business in England Scotland and Wales, Liebherr has further refined and increased the "start-up" fleet content, which will now also include the new telehandler range launched at Bauma earlier this year.
