Italian alliance for Tyrone engineering firm

A County Tyrone engineering company is targeting the one of the world's largest quarrying & mining markets following a recently formed alliance with an Italian Filter Press firm.

Cookstown based CDE are set to strengthen their global position following joining forces with world class filter press manufacturers, Diemme, in the Indian mining and minerals markets. CDE and Diemme have a long established successful relationship in Europe and this new agreement marks an extension to their alliance in one of the most exciting developing markets in the world.

CDE who manufacture equipment for the quarrying and mining industries have led the way for Italian Filter press firm Diemme; who have the widest filter press range currently available in the world market. Both Diemme and CDE are vastly experienced in their markets with over 80 year's global experience including 600 installations across 5 continents worldwide.
CDE have already established a concrete presence and growing reputation in India having recently won a £1/2 million contract to supply a complete Iron Ore washing system to one of India's leading steel producers. The consolidated efforts of both firms will unlock huge market potential and given the previous excellent working relationship the companies enjoy, it's a progressive step to build on CDE's presence and growing reputation globally.

The Diemme projects will be facilitated in Kolkata by CDE Asia, the Tyrone firm's sister company.  Iain Walker Sales Director of CDE Asia explained the companies have a well established relationship:
