Hub4's Sales Manager, Daren Thomas , will be taking part in the Royal British Legion's Pedal to Paris next month. Starting in Greenwich on Thursday 30th August 2007 and arriving in Paris on Sunday 2nd September 2007 the cyclists will be covering over 300 miles in 4 days raising money for the very good cause of helping ex-service people and their families across the country. With service personnel actively involved in conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan the work of the British Legion is as vital today as it was when they helped Daren's Grandmother, 60 years ago, when she became a widow during the second world war.
" When I heard how the Legion helped my nan I was keen to take part in the ride and try and raise as much money as possible for a very worthwhile cause. Any sponsorship would therefore be gratefully received".
