Employment Rates Increase With Cookstown Based Firm.

A leading County Tyrone based sand and aggregate processing company is celebrating its continued success with the growth and rapid expansion of its workforce in its Cookstown base with the creation of 15 new jobs in the last 4 months.

CDE Ireland specializes in the design and manufacture of tailor made equipment for the sand and aggregate washing, dust washing, wastewater, materials handling, construction and demolition waste recycling and quarrying industries.

CDE Ireland has seen significant growth over the past number of months by extending their market reach following substantial contracts worth several million pounds in the Middle East, to design and manufacture the world's largest sand-washing system.

The expansion of CDE in Cookstown has seen a 30% increase in workforce from 35 employees in February to 50 employees in July as well as several new appointments being planned over the coming months reflects both the company's strong growth rate and drive to expand the export markets.

CDE's global team also includes 33 employees in CDE Asia in Kolkata which was opened following a joint venture with Torsa Machines in November 2006.
