Loading and unloading equipment specialist, Thorworld Industries, is maintaining its export drive with the sale of its market-leading mobile yardramps to customers in the Middle East.

Two 10 tonne Deluxe range models have been bought by Al Kout Industrial Products of Shuaiba, Kuwait, and a 15 tonne Deluxe range version has been sold to C.E.F. (Dubai Bulk Stores) LLC of Dubai.

The three ramps were supplied with a selection of accessories, including wheel chocks and trailer safety jacks to support the trailer when being loaded and unloaded without a lorry cab.

Thorworld Deluxe and Economy mobile yardramps are ruggedly built and ideal for the fast loading and unloading of vehicle trailers and containers by fork truck where there is no loading dock. They are available with a steel superstructure in a choice of 7,000 kg, 10,000 kg, 12,000 kg or 15,000 kg capacities. With a solid beam construction, they are hydraulically operated down to 890mm and have a serrated open grid deck for positive traction in all weather conditions. They are available with high or low side safety rails.

Because they come complete with a built-in tow bar they are extremely mobile and can be easily moved around by fork lift truck, as necessary. Bespoke models are also available on request to meet specific individual customer requirements.
