Considerable success for DUO at the recent Hillhead show.

The DUO (Europe) plc stand took centre stage at the recent Hillhead quarry exhibition at Buxton, Derbyshire. Visitors from all parts of the globe were present with particularly high interest from Ireland, UAE, India and the West Indies.

All of the visitors to the stand enjoyed the corporate hospitality and were presented with graphic displays and two large plasma screens featuring all the latest company products alongside the many successful washing and recycling projects of the last twelve months.

Visitors were impressed with the quality of the products exhibited and several orders were confirmed along with a significant number of enquiries.

Exhibits featured some "significant firsts" for the show; a 30 ton static and a mobile Gennaretti Centrifuge System which were exhibited alongside a Binder static Bivitec single deck screen all attracted huge interest.

Other products exhibited under the TEREX Minerals Processing distributorship included a 20 x 8  Cedarapids El Jay TSH 8203-38 Triple Shaft Horizontal Screen, a Cedarapids El Jay MVP 280 Rollercone, a Canica 2000 ROR Vertical Shaft Impactor and a Pegson Automax 1000 Cone Crusher.

Taking centre stage was a ‘World First' in the form of the new Chieftain 2100 Bivitec which is a revolutionary mobile screen able to achieve small cut points on difficult to screen materials. There were many inquiries for this machine from customers who wanted to screen recycled aggregates, crusher dust, scalpings, compost, glass and a variety of other materials. Visitors were particularly impressed with the self cleaning decks that flex independently to the screen. Available for 2 or 3 grades of material it features easily changeable polyurethane decks, and is available with a large range of screen sizes.

Completing the line-up was a Powerscreen Fines Master 120 compact twin sand plant and a mobile picking belt from the manufacturing division. Containing a host of new design and safety features, this latter machine is used for manual picking, enabling safe and efficient picking of waste.
