Vehicle safety specialist, Vision Techniques, has won a prestigious Health and Safety Innovation Award for the second year in a row - with its cutting-
edge new VT Overview™ product.
Optimised Waste Logistics (OWL), a Vision Techniques joint product, has also won an award - Waste Product of the Year.
The awards were presented at this year's Plant and Waste Recycling Show (PAWRS) Awards, which was part of a huge exhibition in Devon.
At the event, visitors networked and exhibitors demonstrated their innovative waste management solutions.
PAWRS attracted some of the biggest names in the industry, including technology suppliers and vehicle manufacturers.
Using four vehicle wide-angle cameras, the cutting-edge VT Overview™ provides a single composite picture that allows the driver to see around the vehicle at a single glance.
OWL is a unique fully integrated waste collection solution, which is a product of Vision Techniques working in conjunction with major companies CMS SupaTrak and Vehicle Weighing Solutions.
Michael Hanson, Managing Director for Vision Techniques, said: "It's great VT Overview™ and OWL have been recognised as vital to the Waste Management industry.
"For a quarter of a century we has been at the forefront of vehicle safety, offering a comprehensive range of products.
"Many major companies and councils recognise the importance of our vehicle safety solutions and are currently using VT Overview™ and OWL."
