This year's 10th West African International Mining and Power Exhibition (WAMPEX) held in Ghana from 6-8 June 2012, attracted suppliers to West Africa's rapidly growing mining and mineral resources sector.
It was at this well attended event that Pilot Crushtec, a leading South African supplier of crushing, screening and materials handling equipment to the mining, quarrying, construction, civil engineering and recycling industries attended and exhibited for the first time.
The company's expansion into this region has been attributed to their increased African based sales team who have worked hard to increase awareness and confidence in Pilot Crushtec products in the region. As a company that has built its business on the strength of relationships, West Africa is no different.
According to sales manager Africa, Wayne Warren: "West Africa is the fastest growing gold producing region in Africa, and has enormous potential for both mining and the creation of infrastructure. As a company with its roots in Africa, Pilot Crushtec is committed to advancing its footprint into the West African region as well as Africa as a whole,
"We felt it was important to be at WAMPEX to network with our current and potential customers and our efforts were well received, making this year's event extremely successful," concludes Warren.
