Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc. (KPI-JCI) Welcomes Baer as Structural Design Engineer

Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc. (KPI-JCI) is pleased to welcome Chris Baer, PE, to its engineering team as a Structural Design Engineer.

As a Structural Design Engineer, Baer will perform structural steel design for both the Washing and Material Handling product lines. Previously, he worked as a design engineer for Dakota Steel and Supply in Rapid City, S.D., and as a design engineer at Gage Brothers Concrete Products in Sioux Falls, S.D. Baer received both his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering as well as his Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in Rapid City, SD.

Greg Stach, Engineering Manager for Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc. (KPI-JCI), said the addition of Baer to the engineering team fills a great need in the department.

"Because Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc. offers turnkey product management, we design, fabricate and build our own structures to support this equipment. It is wonderful to have a Professional Engineer like Chris for these product lines," Stach said. "He is a great asset to our team."
