BAV Crushers Claim Advances In Their Excavator

Mounted crushing attachments have driven the performance up to levels where they believe it is now difficult to justify the considerably higher cost of small mobile tracked crushers.

Launched in 2010, the firm's BAV-CB range of crusher buckets now covers excavators from 2.5 tonne minis, up to 25 tonne full-sized machines. The buckets allow operators to utilise their existing diggers to crush to grade, on site and augment the already successful Alligator range of primary, jaw crushing attachments.

The firm has recently appointed a new Netherlands dealer for these products; Gerlasco BV, run by Gerco Oudshoorn already has extensive experience in the recycling attachments sector, with a proven ability selling complimentary lines of equipment. Gerlasco have ordered four BAV attachments – a mix of the crusher buckets and alligator crushers – for stock and demonstration.

BAV Crushers are actively seeking suitable dealers in other export markets. The export dealer network began to take shape in 2008, but was not fully realised due to the onset of the global credit crunch. The firm now sees opportunities to once more develop their sales.
