New SuperDrive and Ground Conveyor for Hanson Pottal Pool Quarry.

Canning Conveyor has just completed a project for Hanson Aggregates at their Pottal Pool Quarry.

Canning supplied a new 90 m troughed belt ground conveyor which is designed to accept up to 600 tph of sand and gravel and is fed by an existing hopper/belt feeder.

A 37kw SuperDriveTM single drum was supplied which was fitted with a 630mm diameter motorized drive, partially ceramic lagged in combi - red diamond including internal backstop. Also supplied was a high tension bend pulley, jib discharge drum, loop bend drum, primary belt scraper and a tungsten tipped secondary belt scraper.

The entire unit was built on a substantial skid mounted frame with a cantilevered jib discharge. A grading section and a heavy-duty tail end loading section and 30 standard Canning 2.6m field conveyor intermediate bays including 210m of 1000mm wide Cannoflex EP500/3 ply belting completed the project.
