This years Scot Plant will see Blue Scotland premièring a host of new equipment from their range of waste, quarrying and re-handling solutions

Situated on stands 2 and 4 in Avenue C, Blue Scotland will be showing equipment from the Kiverco, Powerscreen, Doppstadt, Marathon and Terex-Fuchs ranges.

Blue Scotland’s Managing Director Austin Carey says “Scot Plant is a vital and highly successful show on our busy exhibition calendar and, once again, we are taking the opportunity at this valued industry biennial event to debut some innovative equipment, with an emphasis on recycling in addition to our interests in quarrying and aggregate processing machinery”.

Recently appointed as sole UK dealers for the Terex-Fuchs range of material handlers, Blue will be exhibiting two models from the range. The MHL331D is one of the smaller machines in the range; compact, manoeuvrable yet powerful the MHL331D weighs in at 22 tonnes and boasts a reach of 12m. Available with either an industrial or multi-purpose stick and powered by a fuel efficient 153HP, Tier 3 engine the MHL331D is an ideal machine for those who refuse to compromise on performance, efficiency and reliability.

The second of the Terex-Fuchs machines on display will be the brand new MHL350E. With an operating weight range between 33 and 38 tonnes the MHL350E can be configured to have a maximum reach of 16m making it ideal for scrap handling applications. Power comes in the form of a 6 cylinder Deutz engine generating 171HP and meets with current Tier 4i emissions legislation making the MHL350E a very fuel efficient and “green” machine. The MHL350E is also fitted with a totally re-worked cabin which offers new standards in ergonomics, safety and operator comfort.

Three models from the Doppstadt range will be gracing the stand; DW3060K, AK435K and the first DH810 chipper to be sold to a UK contractor. Purchased by Scot Heating Company from Stirling, the DH810 is built on a compact 2 axle chassis enabling it to be deployed into the tightest of situations and is capable of producing the necessary G30 specification woodchip.

The Kiverco MPS 1200 is a fully mobile picking station which offers incredible flexibility for all levels of operators, from small sized skip companies through to the large contractors for site clean ups.  Kiverco Mobile Picking Stations are ideally suited to skip, waste, demolition or local authority operators who require their MPS to travel between sites or different contracts or those who have a shortage of space.

Also on display will be the very popular Marathon Gemini Express baler. Launched late in 2011 Blue have had considerable success with eight models sold to date. The Gemini baler is a mid-capacity, closed-end, multi-material baler which is ideal for baling light alloys, paper, plastics and similar materials. Capable of producing a standard 762mm x 1219mm x 1524mm bale with a cycle time of 34 seconds.
