Mettler Toledo introduces Micro Gram, for Automated Applications

METTLER TOLEDO's new weigh module has a readability of one micro gram. Easy to integrate into laboratory instruments, filling machines and handling devices, the module's comprehensive overload protection is designed for use in automated processes and production applications.

The WX has a capacity of 22g with a readability of 1 μg. Fast weighing technology and data transmission via RS232/422 or fieldbus delivers reproducible values within fractions of a second - accelerating filling, production and testing processes.

Overload Protection

The weighing cell's stainless steel housing benefits from mechanical protec­tion against vertical static overload. It is also protected against later­al shear forces such as those occurring during automatic loading and unloading of the weighing pan or in the event of malfunction of handling equipment.

Easy to Clean

The module complies with the common requirement for efficient cleaning in order to avoid cross contamination when formats and products are changed. Thanks to rugged industrial plug connectors with IP67 protection, the WX can be rinsed with a cleaning fluid. The weighing pan can be easily removed for cleaning, while a cover is supplied to seal the exposed opening.
