Liebherr-Great Britain Adds to the Depot Network Again!

Liebherr-Great Britain Limited is expanding rapidly and defies the economic downturn with construction machinery sales and equipment rental continuing to perform well. Recruitment also remains at a healthy level — especially with major investments in engineering and product support personnel. Liebherr's growth strategy in the UK now enters the next phase with the opening of another new service centre for earthmoving equipment — this time in Sheffield. The new depot is on Whittle Way in a modern industrial estate aptly named Advanced Manufacturing Park, where modification work to the premises to comply with Liebherr's specific requirements is complete. The service centre will provide spare parts and depot support to customers and the field service engineering team already located in the area, enhancing the range of after sales services Liebherr offers to its growing customer base.

Commenting on this latest addition to the depot network, Liebherr's National After Sales Manager - Earthmoving Division, Gerry McKinstry said "The new service centre in Sheffield further improves our national coverage and will fulfill an important rôle in delivering high-quality and quick-response after sales support to our customers in the region".

Liebherr's depot network in the UK and Ireland now includes Aberdeen, Bathgate (West Lothian), Sunderland, Wigan, Sheffield, Cannock, Biggleswade (Bedfordshire — also the British headquarters), Weston-super-Mare and Rathcoole near Dublin.
