The fully accredited CPCS Training School at Liebherr's UK headquarters has expanded its curriculum even further to include formal training and certification to CPCS category A26 for mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP). The new course can be either according to CPCS standards or, through a comprehensive in-house scheme, students can obtain Liebherr's own well-regarded certification. Fully qualified and experienced instructors can impart up-to-date information on all current legislation and codes of practice, providing a high quality mobile access platform training and testing scheme. Courses can either be held at Liebherr's own dedicated training centre at their modern Biggleswade headquarters in Bedfordshire, or at the customer's own premises.
Created specifically to provide certified compliance for lifting operations and lifting equipment requirements in accordance with British Standards for the safe use of cranes, Liebherr's CPCS Training School offers a comprehensive range of statutory and tailor-made programmes. From basic operations to planning and managing complex projects, the Training School provides ideal facilities — both in the classroom and for real-life, hands-on experience and assessment on a specially constructed proving ground. The courses available include mobile cranes, crawler cranes and now mobile elevated work platforms.
