CDE Global has announced the recent appointment of Jason Kiddle has as Customer Care Manager. Jason will oversee customer relationships for CDE Global working closely with Spare Parts Manager, Kevin Sheehy and Service Manager, Ryan Barker. The appointment comes following the initial success of the Customer Care initiative which was launched in the UK & Ireland markets in 2010. This service was launched to introduce the ServiceMax package; a suite of support systems designed to help operators maintain optimum production levels and plant efficiency.
CDE Global is committed to providing a world class service to customers to ensure their plant continues to operate at maximum efficiency providing maximum profitability. The range of services delivered through the ServiceMax package includes a full range of plant spares through to a variety of service and maintenance packages.
The ServiceMax package establishes an ongoing relationship with customers following the sale and commissioning of the plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained. CDE Service Manager, Ryan Barker, explains
“What our approach does is monitor plant performance on an ongoing basis to ensure the efficiency levels are maintained, thus ensuring the final product specifications are not compromised. The end result of all of this work is that the customer is able to secure the maximum commercial value from the maximum volume of material.”
At the outset a Service Engineer will make a visit to the customer site to carry out a plant audit which will produce a detailed plant report. The report will detail suggested maintenance regimes that will help improve plant performance, observations on any potential health and safety issues noted by the CDE Engineer and a list of recommended spares. It is recommended that the customer holds in stock this list of spares to ensure that plant downtime is minimised when parts are required.
The range of spare parts on offer from CDE covers their full range of equipment.
“We hold an extensive stock of all critical spares for the full range of equipment at our warehouse in Cookstown and can guarantee quick delivery to site” explains Kevin Sheehy, Parts Manager.
“However, just as with our preventative maintenance service we aim to instead focus on ensuring customers have stock of the critical spares on site to minimise plant downtime”.
In addition to the range of spares for their own range of equipment CDE also offer a range of generic spares such as screen media including polyurethane, rubber and wire mesh, the full range of conveyor spares including bearings, rollers & skirting rubber. In addition to this as official distributors for Weir Minerals the company can offer a wide range of pumps and pump spares.
The CDE Global Customer Care Team is managed from CDE headquarters in Cookstown, Northern Ireland and a full range of spare parts are supplied to the global network from this hub. The extensive distributor network also holds stock of critical spare parts and will be able to provide help and advice relating to the optimization of your processing plants performance.
