Leach Lewis Heavy Wins New Doosan Dealership

Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment has appointed Leach Lewis Heavy as the new authorised dealer for the range of Doosan-branded products in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire and East Warwickshire.

Leach Lewis Heavy, a new business in the Leach Lewis Group, is now responsible for sales and service for the Doosan ranges of crawler and wheeled excavators, wheeled loaders and articulated dump trucks throughout these areas.

Based at dedicated premises at Whittlesey near Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, the team at Leach Lewis Heavy is spearheaded by Sean Donovan, who recently joined the company and has wide experience in the heavy equipment market in this country. Peter Sayers, Commercial Director at Leach Lewis, commented:

“We have been looking for some time to distribute a line of heavy equipment and we are delighted to represent the Doosan product range which is popular in the UK market. The new headquarters for Leach Lewis Heavy at Whittlesey provides a truly local presence for Doosan customers.”

Leach Lewis Heavy is responsible for service and warranty work on all existing Doosan products in its area, covering everything from emergency repairs to routine maintenance, backed by a full selection of genuine accessories and parts. The company will also be stocking some Doosan products at Whittlesey to allow it to respond quickly to customers requiring machines on short notice.

Available now from Leach Lewis Heavy is the comprehensive range of Doosan crawler excavators including mid-size and heavy models covering operating weights from 14 to 70 tonne and specialist demolition machines. As well as the smaller wheeled model, the DX55W, there is a choice of five mid-size Doosan wheeled excavators in the weight range from 14 to 21 tonne, complemented by specialist material handling and railway machines.

The Doosan range of articulated wheel loaders includes eight models with bucket capacities from 1.5 to 5 m3. Key features offered by Doosan wheel loaders include more productivity at lower cost, reliability, comfort and ease of maintenance. The Doosan Moxy range of four ADT models provides a line of advanced, reliable and cost effective vehicles, offering significant competitive advantages. The Doosan high capacity telehandler range comprises four models offering maximum lift heights of 10 m and lifting capacities from 7 to 21 tonne.
