Harris announce the promotion of Glenn Godwin

Harris is pleased to announce the promotion of Glenn Godwin to Director of Quality.

In his new role, Glenn will be responsible for group-wide quality and safety initiatives. Glenn will assume his new role effective immediately and will report directly to the President of Harris, Ken Galason.

Glenn joined Harris in 2010 from Cooper Lighting and immediately joined the effort to help the Harris team earn ISO 9001:2008 certification. He has extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing, Safety and Quality and states:

“I plan on focusing my efforts on delivering defect-free products to Harris customers.”

Glenn holds a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and is a Lean Manufacturing Black Belt. New Features, New designs, New Possibilities. Harris designs, manufactures and supports scrap processing, recycling and waste handling equipment with a product range that includes two-ram, horizontal and vertical balers for recovered paper, cardboard, non-ferrous metals and plastics, and shears, balers and shredders for ferrous metals.
