The Wolfson Centre for BSHT is launching a series of one and two day short courses in Belgium and Holland during the summer months.
The objective of these courses is to give delegates an overview of various methods of measuring behavioural properties of powders. These include particle size measurement, segregation, caking, attrition other behavioural properties relevant to processing operation. A particular innovation is the new Powder Flowability Tester which enables you to get information on how different powders will handle through your system. There will be an opportunities to get hands-on with some of these methods, as well as to gain expert advice relevant to delegates' own situations. For each technique covered reference will be made to it's relevance to real-world handling scenarios.
Target audience: Users and potential users of a wide range of instruments and methods including the Powder Flow Tester, size analysers, segregation testers and others.
At the time of going to press, the exact locations and dates have yet to be confirmed. However the courses are expected to fill up quickly so if you are interested and would like more information, please contact us at wolfson-enquiries@gre.ac.uk
