CDE announce new appointment to board of directors.

CDE Global has announced the appointment of Terry Ashby to the board of directors following the company's recent AGM. Mr Ashby moves to the new position having been General Manager for CDE with specific responsibility for their operations in the GB market for the last 10 years.

Commenting on the new appointment Managing Director Brendan McGurgan said "Terry has been with us for many years now and has contributed greatly to the development of our presence in the UK market. His flexibility, energy, passion and candor is admirable. Terry's experience and respect within the industry will undoubtedly continue to be a significant asset for CDE as we seek to further increase our coverage."

Having worked in the quarrying and construction materials industry for over 30 years Mr Ashby is one of the most respected and well known personalities within the industry in the UK and beyond. In addition to the extensive knowledge of the GB market he has also been pivotal in the development of many export markets for CDE having spent considerable time in North America and the Middle East.

In his new role Mr Ashby will work closely with the CDE Global sales team and growing distributor network to ensure the continuing expansion of the company both within existing markets and strategic export markets outside Ireland and the UK.

Commenting on his appointment Mr Ashby said "I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and continuing to work with the global CDE team to build on the recent successes we have enjoyed."

Mr Ashby will lead a dedicated CDE team in GB which includes technical sales personnel and a dedicated after sales and service team.
